Modern fashion designers do not sleep, but constantly delight us with their new creations. In all the variety of models fit and get confused. However, we all know the main types of clothing well.
Dresses
That's what makes any woman different from a man. Dresses have many varieties and styles:
- Evening. Typically, such models are distinguished by a deep neckline, open shoulders (or even the absence of sleeves at all) and backs.
- Cocktail dresses. Pretty versatile models. They can be both closed and rather frank, of a strict style or decorated with all kinds of ruffles and draperies.
- Wedding dress. Here comments are superfluous. Smart clothes forcorresponding celebration.
- Ethnic (or exotic) dress. Any model in the style of a certain country. For example, a kimono dress, borrowed by us from Japanese women. Or everyone's favorite tunic lately.
Jerseys
Among such products are the following:
1. Bolero. Regular short vest. It can be sewn from both denim and organza. Often there are knitted patterns.
2. Turtleneck. Skinny jersey sweater that wraps around the body. Be sure to have a collar, usually turning away. It has other names - badlon, golf.
3. Jumper. Its feature is a round neckline instead of a collar. This element of the wardrobe is perfect for both business and romantic style.
4. Cardigan. Knitted clothes with a fastener on buttons. Features a plunging neckline.
Skirts
Skirt is also the prerogative of women. True, in some countries, men borrowed it from us. But the style of men's skirts is completely different. This element of women's clothing is represented by a wide range of models - narrow and wide, mini and maxi, year and pleated skirts, wraparound, pencil skirts and a huge variety of styles.
Clothes of our supermen
Types of men's clothing are far from being so numerous. In general, they say that a real man's attire is a suit - a two or three. This statement is only half true. After all, there are also evening dresses - tuxedos and tailcoats. What about sportswear - sweatshirts, jumpers, t-shirts? Another thing is thatenterprising women borrowed everything they could from the men's wardrobe. The result is a unisex style.
I would like to note such an item of men's wardrobe as a blazer. Recently, it is often called a club jacket. This is not entirely correct, because the concept of "clubwear" is quite broad. But nevertheless, you can wear such an outfit to the club. The main difference of the mentioned clothes is patch pockets and metal buttons. This is a fairly democratic option. It can be worn with both trousers and jeans.
The tunic can also be attributed to purely men's clothing. Of course, this is a uniform product, but it is often worn in everyday life. It differs from a regular jacket in the variety of collars. The tunic can have both a turn-down and a stand-up collar with a single-breasted blind clasp.
Types of outerwear
Outerwear is represented by practically the same products for both men and women. The only difference is usually the sizes and styles. Ours are different. That is why, looking at the product, we immediately understand whether it is a model for women or men.
All outerwear can be divided into the following categories:
- Coat. In men, they usually have a straight silhouette. But for women there is a real expanse here: fitted models, trapezoidal, semi-adjacent, etc.
- Down jackets. In other words, quilted jackets. Women's models usually have a fur-trimmed hood and are distinguished by an abundance of accessories.
- Raincoats. Essentially the samethe most coats, only lightweight and made of waterproof fabric.
- Jackets. Made of different materials and with different fittings - buttons, buttons, locks, straps. Women's models often have decorative trim.
- Windbreakers. Lightweight jackets in thick fabrics with unquilted lining.
Functional clothing
Along with the general division of clothing into types, there is also a classification based on the functional features of products. Usually, the following types of wardrobe items are distinguished:
- Casual wear. Designed to be worn every day. It can be T-shirts, skirts, dresses, shorts, trousers. It is sewn from high-quality, comfortable fabrics and is distinguished by the absence or minimum number of decorative elements. This variety includes home and work clothes.
- Festive outfits. The little black dress for the exit is just from this category. These models are bright, extravagant, decorated with beads, lace, ruffles, glass beads, sequins. In other words, they have more brilliance, more sophistication. But not always weekend clothes are distinguished by an abundance of jewelry. Strict, elegant models also look quite elegant.
