Nails say a lot: whether a girl takes care of herself, whether she is neat, what a sense of style she has. Everyone dreams of having moderately long, he althy and beautiful nails. But, unfortunately, not many succeed. If there is a noticeable lack of calcium or other nutrients in the body, then the nails will easily break, not even having time to grow to the desired length.
But technology does not stand still, and now every girl has the opportunity to get the desired nails: just go to the salon to the master and make the extension procedure. There are several ways to lengthen nails: using acrylic, biogel, resin. The most popular method today is extensions with camouflage gel.
What is this - "camouflage gel"
The word itself came to us recently from the English language. It means "disguise" in translation. Camouflage gel not only lengthens the nails, but also masks their imperfections.
Gel looks natural andsometimes the nails extended by him are difficult to distinguish from natural ones. This happens due to the structure of the product and the palette, which contains delicate pastel colors, as close as possible to the natural color of the nail plate.
Camouflage nail gel can be of several types: single-phase system and three-phase.
Single-phase system can simultaneously act as a base, and as a sculpting gel, and as a finish. It gives the nails shine, makes them as natural as possible. Formed using tips or forms.
Three-phase system involves the application of the gel in three stages. This requires great endurance and a lot of free time from the master and the client. But such nails will last much longer than with any other type of extension. In addition, they are less likely to break or crack.
Benefits of Camouflage Gel
This extension method has its advantages:
- Nails have a perfect glossy surface.
- The camouflage gel contains substances that prevent the occurrence of fungal diseases in the nail area.
- Gel is able to strengthen the "native" nail, make it more even.
- Camouflage nail gel is breathable.
- It looks very natural and almost indistinguishable from natural nails.
- With camouflage gel nails, you can walk for a long time
Disadvantages of camouflage gel
Like any tool, camouflage gel has its ownshortcomings that must be taken into account before the extension procedure.
All hair extensions can cause allergies. Camouflage gel polish is no exception. Before you go to the salon to a specialist, consult your doctor and make sure that there are no contraindications.
Under the influence of an ultraviolet lamp, the "native" nail plate may deteriorate: the nail will be damaged, microburns or cracks will occur. In addition, in order to remove the extended layer, you will have to cut everything off, and if an unskilled master comes across, this can lead to injury to the nail plate.
Camouflage nail gel has a significant drawback: if the nail breaks or gives even the slightest crack, it is necessary to cut everything down to the root.
After building up, you need to visit the master every three weeks to correct the nails.
Also, as a minus, you can call the high cost of building up with camouflage gel.
Preparation for extension procedure
The extension procedure is complicated, but quite interesting. It goes through several stages.
First of all, the master prepares natural nails for modeling: he uses antispective on his hands and the hands of the client, and then treats the cuticle with a soft frieze in order to make it convenient to substitute the form. It is necessary to clean the nail plate well from the cuticle and make sure that there are no "crumbs" on the base layer. After removing the dust, a degreaser is applied, and then anyprimer.
How the extension works
At the next stage, the specialist takes a special form for future nails, separates it from the adhesive base. When setting, the center of the form must necessarily coincide with the center of the natural nail plate. If necessary, the roots of the mold can be slightly trimmed and rounded.
Then the manicurist takes the camouflage nail gel. It is necessary to collect a small drop on the brush and evenly distribute the product first in the middle to the free edge, and then up to the cuticle. Apply the gel to the edges very carefully so that it does not flow into the sinuses, retreating from the cuticle and side ridges one to two millimeters. After that, the camouflage gel is dried under the lamp for about two minutes.
Butt to the natural nail laid out the substrate. Then the master presses it with a special tool to the nail, holds it for about ten seconds so that it connects to the nail plate. The longitudinal line of the form should continue the line of the free edge. After that, the nails are dried again for two minutes.
Final stage
Then the dispersion layer is removed. With a nail file, the master gives the free edge a beautiful shape. The dust is thoroughly cleaned with a brush. Then the nail plate is degreased.
After that, a camouflage gel for French manicure is applied with a beveled brush. This is done in two layers, each of which dries under the lamp for two minutes.
At the end of the procedure, the master applies the finishing layer withsticky dispersion layer, spreading over the entire nail. Then the nails are dried again in the lamp for two minutes.
After the allotted time, the master removes the form. Now he chooses a shade from the color palette that best suits the natural color of the nail plate and completes the extension.
