In our daily life, very bright makeup is out of place. Models, actresses or animators at children's parties can afford an unusual look. Foundation, a little mascara, a drop of blush and lip gloss - this is the standard make-up set for almost every woman. By evening, more clearly defined eyebrows, Hollywood arrows or scarlet lipstick may appear on the face. Beautiful, spectacular, but also quite ordinary. And so sometimes you want a holiday: bright unusual lips or languid eyes in the style of a vamp woman, clearly defined cheekbones or fluffy false eyelashes.
Where such makeup is appropriate
A theme party or a photo shoot is the very case when makeup, unusual and bright, is very appropriate. A Halloween party is a great occasion to "try on" the image of a femme fatale - mysterious and fatal, or a vampire - beautiful and gloomy. New Year's Eve gives you a reason to shower yourself with sparkles or try lipstick in an unusual color. And at a wedding in retro style, transform into a Hollywood diva.
If this is the occasion, don't miss your chance to shine!
Dark makeup
Black smoky eyes look incredibly impressive. This is a technique for applying eye products, inthe result of which is a well-shaded haze. To make black makeup, you will need:
- Black kajal or soft eyeliner.
- Shadows in black or dark gray.
- Light shadows, matte or shimmery.
- Dense but soft eyeshadow blending brush.
- Volume mascara.
- False eyelashes and glue.
Before you start black makeup, make sure you even out your complexion well. It is necessary to carefully mask dark circles under the eyes and redness with a concealer. If the makeup is unusual, then it draws attention to itself, so the skin should look perfect.
When finished with the tone of the face, apply patches under the eyes. If the shadows crumble, they will protect from dark circles. Or apply foundation after you finish your eye makeup.
Another secret is to apply foundation under the shadow. This will allow them to stay in place for as long as possible, not to roll or crumble. Today, almost any cosmetic brand produces a base under the shadows. If you haven’t found it, you can apply a thin layer of foundation on your eyelids and lightly powder. But remember - this method is not suitable for every day.
Applying technique
Having prepared the eyelids, line your eyes with a black pencil or kayal along the lash line, painting over the space between the lashes well. The line should be thick enough, in the future we will blend it. Also, do not forget about the lower eyelid. It is necessary to paint over the mucosa with a pencil and draw a line underbottom lashes. Thinner at the inner corner of the eye and wider at the outer.
Next, we draw black or dark gray shadows on the brush. For an even more intense color, the product can be applied wet. To do this, lightly moisten the brush with water and draw shadows on it.
Put the brush in the outer corner of the upper eyelid and "stretch" the color to the middle. For a festive, evening make-up, you can not be afraid to shade the shadows higher, to the eyebrows. Continue to apply the product until the desired color intensity is obtained. The inner corner of the eye can be left a little lighter, especially if the eyes are "set" close. If the eyes are widely "spaced", then it is better to darken the inner corner. In other cases, you can choose any option. We do the same “stretch” on the lower eyelid.
Blend the pencil well so that the border between it and the shadows becomes softer, smoky. We will place accents with light shadows - a little under the eyebrow, and in the inner corner of the eye.
Finish with thick volumizing mascara and let dry. To give the image languor, glue on false eyelashes. Here you can give free rein to your imagination and choose those that you didn’t even dare to look at before - very thick and long, with rhinestones, beads or feathers. This will be the "cherry" of your unusual makeup.
Color makeup
Blue makeup is applied in the same way as black. To keep the color pure and bright, apply white eye shadow or blend with a white pencil under the blue.
Macara, you can choose both black andblue.
You can accent blue makeup with lipstick. Yes, yes, now many professional brands of cosmetics produce lipsticks for unusual makeup. But in this case, let the eyes remain neutral, paint over the eyelashes with black mascara and make the eyebrows clearer.
Retro style
It's trendy to hold retro parties lately. They need a certain make-up, an unusual look becomes very appropriate. One of my favorite themes is the glamorous 60s. Remember Audrey Hepburn in How to Steal a Million? Nicole's image fully reflects the spirit and fashion of that time.
Makeup in the style of the 60s is, of course, wide long arrows. It takes practice to learn how to draw them, but there are a few secrets to making them nice and even.
For retro makeup we need:
- Foundation.
- Shadows and brow gel.
- Liquid eyeliner.
- Light shadows.
- Ink.
- Blush.
- Nude lipstick.
Choose a matte foundation, without the effect of wet shine, even a half tone lighter than your complexion.
Eyebrows are left natural and wide enough. Work them with shadows and lay them with gel.
Let's start eye makeup. Apply light matte shadows to the entire moving eyelid, they can be white or beige. With liquid eyeliner, draw a wide line from the inner corner of the eye to the outer and lift the “tail” of the arrow. To make it even, put a plastic card orstick on the patch. It remains to draw a line, as in a ruler. At the end, thickly paint over the eyelashes. You can use invoices.
Highlight the hollows under the cheekbones with blush for correction, and apply matte lipstick of a natural shade on the lips.
Makeup for outfit
When going out, it is very important to choose the right makeup for the dress.
If it is embroidered with sequins or rhinestones, avoid eye shadow and lip gloss with shimmer. Let the makeup be matte, an exception can be made in the form of a highlighter on the cheekbones.
The red lips and arrows are perfect under the black dress.
A red dress needs to be "insurance" with the perfect tone of the face. Focus on the eyebrows and eyes. If you decide on red lipstick, make sure it matches the dress.
For bright outfits, it is not at all necessary to choose shades to match, rather, on the contrary, choose a neutral, calm make-up.
But bright dresses can be “decorated” with brighter makeup.
