A few years ago, a tattoo created with drawing ink was the ultimate dream of everyone who wanted to decorate their body. To date, the palette for tattooing has expanded so much that even the most demanding people in terms of colors will be completely satisfied. Leading pigment manufacturers regularly replenish the number of beautiful colors, and the quality of tattoo ink has improved significantly in recent years.
Absolutely any paint is a combination of several chemicals. And they, in turn, interact not only with each other, but also with the environment in which they are located. When we talk about purchasing paint for windows or gates, we rarely think about its composition, quality and manufacturer. And when it comes to our body, then every little thing becomes very important.
So, you have decided to apply a tattoo, choose a pattern and decide on a color scheme. But how not to make a mistake and not harm the body? What should be the ink for the tattoo?
First of all, safe. itimplies the presence of three characteristics: sterility, non-toxicity and hypoallergenicity.
Plus, tattoo ink must be stable and durable. Over the years, ingredients such as carbon black, minerals, ocher, plant extracts have guaranteed clarity and stability of the pattern. But today a lot has changed, including the composition of paints. Now one of the main ingredients of paint are pigments. And if their quality leaves much to be desired, then the tattoo can quickly “shed” or even completely change color.
Quality tattoo ink necessarily has inertia. Due to this quality, it will not interact with fluids in the body, in particular with blood and tissue fluid.
Good tattoo ink should not contain substances that cause all sorts of complications (even malignant tumors). Such compounds are called organohalogens and include bromine, chlorine or iodine.
Many tattoo inks are diluted with special solvents. Such liquids disinfect the paint and help to evenly distribute the dry pigment. Solvents should not contain chemical impurities, but only safe components, which include purified water, ethyl alcohol, glycerin, listerine, propylene glycol.
If you are not sure about your decision regarding permanent tattooing or have not finally decided on the choicedrawing, then the best option for you would be a temporary tattoo. It will retain its shape on your body for about a month, and temporary tattoo ink will definitely not do any harm. After all, among several types of such tattoos, the most popular is the pattern applied by henna. But be careful and don't let yourself be fooled. If you are promised the stability of a tattoo for several months, or even more, then immediately run away from such a master, since a temporary tattoo “does not live” for more than a month.
