What materials can strengthen nails
There are several ways to strengthen nails, and all can be divided into three categories: acrylic strengthening, biogel strengthening and using fiberglass with glue.

What is biogel
Some do not see much difference between gel polish and biogel. Indeed, the color coatings of these materials do not visually differ. That is, it is impossible to determine by appearance what material was used. This is different from extensions - gel and acrylic.
First of all, biogel has a rubber base and is therefore more elastic. The nail experiences many mechanical impacts when working at home, in the garden, in the office. And the harder the artificial surface, the more likely the occurrence of cracks and chips at the free edge. Biogel repeats all movements of the nail and therefore does not break, but bends.
Weakened nails are too flexible and soft to withstand gel polish for a long time. After three or four days, microcracks appear on the free edge, followed by delamination of the material and chips. Even if the masterhe did everything well and correctly, gel polish will not be worn on such nails.

Strengthening nails with Royal French biogel from "Formula Profi"
The biomaterial system consists of a base-corrector (color or camouflage), Bio French gel-paint and a top coat with a sticky layer "Bio Top".

- After giving the desired shape to the free edge, the surface of the nails is treated with a buff to a matte state.
- Profi Prep alcohol-based degreaser is applied.

How to strengthen nails with Cody biogel
This biogel can performextension or strengthen nails. It would be a mistake to think that the Cody biogel replaces the base, like the Formula Profi company. In this system, the application of the base is mandatory. A layer of biogel is applied to it.
Procedure for strengthening the nail plate:
- Shine is removed from prepared nails with a buff, after which they are thoroughly degreased.
- An acid-free primer is applied to the nails. It needs to dry.
- The Rubber Base is applied and cured. For UV lamp it is 2 minutes, and for LED it is 30 seconds.
- A drop of biogel from a jar is drawn onto the brush number 4 and distributed over the nail. Polymerization 1 minute.
- You can apply any color gel polish in two layers with drying.
- Finishing gel (top "Cody") is applied and cured for 2 minutes.
Technologists advise a slightly different order for home strengthening of nails with biogel under gel polish:
- Remove shine from nails and degrease them.
- Applying an acid-free primer to the entire nail plate.
- Applying the biogel on the nail by rubbing with an extremely thin layer, polymerization.

Both bases are highly praised by masters and amateurs alike. Apply both with primer and without primer - the result is good. The corrector base has several camouflages, even with glitter. It turns out not only medical, but also a decorative coating. The Kodi base was loved by all the masters who tested it. Now even some do not use biogel: they make a drop of the base again - and the gel polish lasts for a month, allowing their nails to grow.
Bio-gels for building up both brands were highly appreciated: they hold well, are easily filed, and can be removed without problems. Now many masters make clients strengthen nails with biogel, but the customer reviews are enthusiastic.
