Dmitry Sholokhov is a designer and artist who was born in the small town of Novopolotsk (Belarus). He devoted his youth to ballroom dancing. By the way, even then he drew on his own, and then sewed stage costumes for himself and his partner.
Dmitry's father was a talented artist, so Sholokhov's dream wasself-realization in design art. However, he graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology at one of the local universities and, thanks to the student project Work & Travel, traveled to the United States for the first time.

- I perfectly understand that for half of the project I was in the shadows, and neither the participants nor the jury noticed me at all. The fact is that I am a person who does not try to pull the blanket over himself and does not try to attract all the attention to himself. The project brought together very bright, interesting and rather extraordinary personalities. There were many senseless actions and conversations. I came here with a specific goal, so I preferred never to get involved in squabbles and conflicts. When there are a lot of bright birds around that are constantly making noise, of course, all attention will be focused only on them. However, over time, they fly out of the project. Then there are really serious people who know what they want and why they came to the show.
