Salvatore Ferragamo is a stylish and vibrant brand whose products are designed for sophisticated people. At the age of 14, young Salvatore opened his first own shoemaking workshop, and after 2 years he moved to America. It was here that his creations gained incredible popularity. Well-known personalities and celebrities of the world of cinema have become fans of the brand, and the fashion house continues to cooperate with Western cinema to this day. In 1960, Salvatore died, but the business lives on. The company has grown into a family business run by his son, Ferruccino Ferragamo.
Panacotta, shoes and blackberries
Today, the Italian brand produces not only shoes, accessories, leather goods, but also stylish perfumes that fascinate from the first notes with a rich and dynamic sound. Eleganza, Incanto Bloom, Emozione, Tuscan Soul and Signorina Misteriosa are especially popular among them. Reviews about Salvatore Ferragamoclaim that it is the last composition that is able to draw attention to its owner. Let's talk about it in more detail, but first let's get acquainted with the two previous "signorinas".
In February 2011, the fashion house presented the first composition of the famous trilogy. The sweet, delicate aroma captivated the customers with its pleasant and weightless sugar haze. Top notes were revealed by a combination of pink pepper and red currant. In the "heart" there was a flower trio: jasmine, rose and peony. The base harmony was built on musk, patchouli and the tenderness of the Italian panna cotta dessert. There were no indifferent: the first admired the incredible durability, the second compared the trail of the novelty with L'instant de Guerlain, the others expressed dissatisfaction with the cloyingness in the summer heat.
In the autumn of 2013, the creation of the second Signorina was announced, which will be a more sophisticated, expensive and elegant interpretation of the first perfume. The inspiration came from the 2012 cruise collection show held at the Louvre, where nude women's shoes were the key image. This time the pyramid created by Sophie Labbe included notes of peach, grapefruit, almond, osmanthus, white leather and patchouli.
The appearance of a seductive mysterious stranger, carrying passion and love under the cover of night, was announced in the winter of 2015. Reviews of the Signorina Misteriosa by Salvatore Ferragamo called the sound of the third Signorina mysterious and unpredictable. Why? Let's find out now…
The Mystery of Creation
3 talented masters - Juliet Karagezoglu, Sophie Labbe and Nicolas Beaulieu worked on the composition. The last two perfumers presented the fragrance at the presentation in Florence.
It is worth noting that Sophie worked on the creation of Organza for Givenchy and Premier Jour for Nina Ricci, worked for a long time with Kenzo, Bulgari, Cacharel - well, all Signorinas, starting from the first, released in 2011 - the case of her "nose". Nicolas and Juliet have a more modest track record.
Probably many people are interested to know what the brief was like and how the fashion house for which the perfume was created broadcast its wishes. Labbe claims that before starting work on Salvatore Ferragamo's Signorina Misteriosa, the customer set the task of rendering black. It is not heavy, but bright and glossy. A sort of mystery - or rather, a demonstration of female coquetry, once again inspired by shoes from Salvatore Ferragamo.
The idea to focus on blackberries was put forward by Nicolas Beaulieu. According to him, from the touch of her lips to a black glossy berry, a woman experiences the same emotions when she sees the shoes of her dreams - delight and joy. To create the smell of blackberries had to work hard. In its natural form, it does not exist, and the fruits cannot be extracted. As a result, perfumers mixed 40 different ingredients and added violet and rose to them to give the essence softness. For shine and gloss - neroli, and musk and vanilla - for a long sillage.
Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Misteriosa Fragrance Description
Completely unlike and having nothing in common with the previous compositions "Signorina" and "Eleganza", except for the design of the bottle with a bow, "Mysteriosa" has nothing. The first association is blackberry jam, which, gleaming glossy, lies in a rosette. Nourishing, bright, dense and incredibly resistant.
An extraordinarily sensual and excitingly gentle perfume reveals a juicy blackberry accord intertwined with notes of neroli. A refined heart is crowned with a quivering sound of a floral bouquet of orange blossom and creamy tuberose. Gourmand accents of milky mousse with a harmonious combination of tenderness of vanilla and noble nuances of patchouli are intertwined in a long-lasting trail that leaves only enthusiastic compliments.

Grace Hartzel became the main character of the video and the face of the composition. The 21-year-old American model appeared before us in several images at once.
In the commercial titled My Life is a Play, Grace brilliantly showcased 3 characters, each from a different version of Salvatore Ferragamo perfume: Signorina, Misteriosa and Eleganza.
The mini-movie was created by a team of professionals represented by director Sebastien Grousset and cameraman Pavel Edelman, who was nominated for an Oscar for Roman Polanski's The Pianist.
The video story turned out incrediblebeautiful, in fact, a short movie, where there is drama, passion and everything that will make a potential buyer buy not one, but three perfumes at once:
Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Misteriosa reviews
At the very beginning, it was not in vain that it was said that of the entire trilogy, it was "Mysteriosa" that distinguished itself with increased attention from women. Many admitted that the acquaintance with the fragrance started very difficult, or rather, did not evoke those emotions that were mentioned in the press release - delight and joy. The first chords sounded sickeningly cloying. But as it turned out, the unpleasant sweetness "plays" only for the first 5-10 minutes. Further, incredible metamorphoses begin to occur with the composition. Almost everyone felt the bright sound of blackberry, reminiscent of vanilla-berry jam. Tasty, sweet, but at the same time unobtrusive and very restrained.
Many customers, who were flattered by the creaminess of the composition, in their reviews of Signorina Misteriosa by Salvatore Ferragamo assure that it begins to open on the skin after 40 minutes, that is, after the essence has completely settled on its owner.
In general, women liked everything: the smell, the sillage, the durability, and the design of the bottle. The main thing, they warn, is to withstand the first 5-10 minutes, and then enjoy the amazing aroma.
