- Individual features. If for some reason the skin around the eyes has a certain tendency to oiliness, this can cause the mascara to spread. Experts recommend using dry shadows and at least a little powder on the eyelids before applying mascara.
- The use of cosmetics. If a girl puts on a specialproduct on the skin around the eyes, it can also cause leaky mascara. That's why oily creams are best replaced with light gels that envelop the skin with a delicate veil, rather than covering it with a thick film.

What to do?
- If moisture has got on the mascara and the product has spread, it is recommended to use a cotton swab. It must be moistened with micellar or plain water. Then gently remove the spreading mascara and allow the skin to dry a little. After that, you need to powder your face a little to mask the traces of spreading mascara.
- If you have watery eyes, you can use a Q-tip to keep moisture out of your lashes. It will absorb excess moisture and allow makeup to last.
