After some time, as soon as the wound heals, a larger "tunnel" is inserted, with a hole of about 2-3 mm. And so, gradually stretching the earlobe, you insert rings of a larger diameter. This manipulation can take from several weeks to several months, it all depends on the ultimate goal. If there is a desire to have a "tunnel" in the ear more than two centimeters in diameter, then in this case an incision is made in the earlobe or a small hole is cut out (all this is done under anesthesia). But such a wound will take longer and be more painful to heal. Do not forget to treat fresh wounds with an alcohol solution so as not to get blood poisoning.
