Egyptians were the first in the history of mankind to paint their lips. Then lipstick was made from red hora and iron oxides. In the form in which it is known to us today, lipstick has been produced since 1903. The most popular cosmetic product in a tube was launched by GUERLAIN.

Lip color reveals our character traits: red is preferred by cheerful women, pink is tender and romantic, orange-red is bold and extravagant, pearl shades are risky and successful. However, the brighter the lipstick, the more carefully and thoroughly it must be applied. This is the golden rule.
Lipstick is made on the basis of oils, mastic (lanolin) and dyes (mainly synthetic). The proportions of these parts determine its properties. Matte creamy lipsticks contain the highest proportion of dyes (up to 10%), therefore they are characterized by durability and lie down evenly. Mother-of-pearl contains a lot of lanolin and synthetic mica. Cream gloss includes approximately 45% lanolin. It can be applied over regular lipstick. Lip gloss contains a minimum proportion of dyes and a much higher proportion of oils. You need to paint lips correctly.
Step 1. Cover lips with moisturizerbalm, giving them elasticity and eliminating possible peeling.
Step 2. Use a sponge to lightly smear your lips with foundation. In this case, the lipstick will be distributed evenly and will last much longer on the lips.
Step 3. Carefully outline the lip line with a contour pencil. Start with a "V" on the upper lip, then draw lines towards the corners. On the lower lip, you can draw one continuous line from one corner to another.
Step 4. Paint the surface of the lips inside the contour with lipstick using a special brush. Take paint on it in small portions, distribute evenly from the middle to the corners.
Step 5. Blot excess lipstick with paper tissue.
To make lips matte, apply a napkin to them in one layer and powder. In order for lipstick not to leave marks, it is necessary to use a contour pencil. For these purposes, they also use a special fat-free lipstick or lipstick.

Long-lasting lipstick lasts up to 12 hours, and super long-wear lipstick lasts up to 24 hours, without touching up. On the one hand, it's convenient. On the other hand, such lipsticks cause a feeling of tightness of the lips and discomfort from the film formed on the lips. Such lipstick is removed only with special means, which include quite aggressive ingredients.
You can’t use such cosmetics every day, so as not to dry out the skin of the lips. It contains lanolin, oils, UV filters, plant extracts (these are useful components), as well as petroleum products, wax and active coloring agents.pigments. The color is fixed with silicone oil, which natural cosmetics manufacturers have abandoned.
More expensive and high-quality products contain fewer harmful substances (for example, Loreal lipstick, Revlon, Isa Dora, Colorstay), but you need to understand that the feature of the product requires the inclusion of ingredients that will not only provide lasting color lips, but will have a negative effect on your skin.
