- length and density of hair (curls should be 45-60 centimeters long);
- hair loss frequency (do a little test: run your hand through your hair and notice how much hair falls out);
- hair color (in order to make it easier to work on creating a hairstyle and ultimately better observe it, get a mannequin with blond hair, as all the elements merge on dark ones).
You can check whether your hair is real or artificial in two ways: wind it on a curling iron (if the curls melt and do not take the desired shape, then you have an unnatural product) and set fire to the ends (natural hair has a specific smell of burnt wool, while artificial smells like plastic).

Mannequin with natural hair should be washed as it gets dirty with the regular shampoo you use. The use of a balm is a must. It is also necessary to make nourishing masks once a week to maintain the condition of the hair. All funds forheat treatment when used on a mannequin must be set to an extremely low temperature in order to avoid damage to the structure of the strands. If you see a small amount of hair falling out after combing, do not be alarmed, this is normal. It is better to choose a comb with massage, with natural fibers.

After that, dry your hair without rinsing it off. Comb only when all curls are dry.
