Sage for hair in folk medicine is most often used in the form of decoctions, infusions or tea.
To prepare the infusion, you need to take one spoonful of dry raw materials,pour into a bowl and pour one glass of boiling water. Let the mixture stand for half an hour. To prepare a product that can further strengthen and stimulate the growth of hair follicles, you need to mix the prepared infusion with rum in a 1: 1 ratio and rub this mixture into the scalp.

First you need to wash your hair with any shampoo suitable for your hair type. Rinse your head with a decoction of sage, squeeze your hair a little, cover your head with cellophane, and then wrap it with a terry towel on top. Hold it for at least ten minutes. After the time has elapsed, the towel with cellophane should be removed and the hair should be left to dry naturally, without using a hair dryer.
Decoction can be prepared in the following way:
A tablespoon of leaves pour a glass of boiling water. Place the resulting slurry in a water bath and heat for 15 minutes without letting it boil. Then remove the broth and let it brew for 30 minutes, strain. To increase the volume, add boiled water. Only fresh decoction should be used, it should not be stored.

Using and making infusions:
1. For hair growth, you need to take 500 g of vodka, 5-7 tablespoons of dry sage and rosemary leaves, 10-16 tablespoons of dry nettle leaves and 500 g of apple cider vinegar. Mix the leaves of all plants. Mix apple cider vinegar with vodka and pour the prepared solution with herbal powder. Place in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks, stir daily. After two weeks, strain the resulting infusion. The product must be stored in the refrigerator. Rinse hair with infusion after each wash.
2. To strengthen the hair, you can prepare a decoction. For it, you need to pour 2 tablespoons of crushed dry sage leaves in 300 ml of hot water. Let the broth stand for about 30 minutes and strain.
Hair coloring
You can also use sage for hair for coloring purposes. It is known thatchemical dyes adversely affect the hair, make it brittle. A good alternative to artificial colors is sage. It will give the hair a beautiful noble dark shade.
Preparing a decoction for coloring:
Boil a liter of water, pour one glass of dry grass leaves into it and cook from 30 minutes to one hour. The color of the water will darken as it boils. After the broth has cooled, rinse your hair with it. To obtain a more saturated shade, the procedure must be repeated about 20 times. For those who do not like the specific smell of sage, you can add a few drops of essential oil. To maintain color, it is necessary to do manipulations several times a month.
To dye gray hair, you need to take one glass of distilled water, 1/8 cup of sage herb and rosemary. Boil water, add grass to it and remove from heat. Let the broth stand for half an hour. After strain through a fine sieve, let the liquid settle and cool for 60 minutes. Rub the mixture in small portions into washed hair thoroughly. Repeat at least ten times. Wrap your head in a towel. To achieve the effect of staining, it is necessary to do the procedure 3 to 5 times a week.
Sage oil
Sage oil is no less popular remedy. It has astringent properties, stabilizes the acidity of the sebaceous glands of the scalp, which, in turn, eliminates the problem of oily and brittle hair. Thanks to its antimicrobial properties, it successfully fights fungal infections that cause dandruff.
