French manicure has long been a classic in nail art. Almost all ladies love him, regardless of age. And the idea of a French manicure in the modern world can be anything that goes beyond the classic white tip. Although it is still popular and is unlikely to go out of fashion. At least not in the next ten years.
Unconventional classics
When the very idea of the French direction was conceived, it was indicated that the free edge of the nail is covered exclusively with white varnish. Well, or gel polish, as is customary today. However, this state of affairs did not always suit the ladies. Therefore, French manicure began to be somewhat modified. And so a non-standard option appeared, when one finger stands out from the overall picture. For example, using varnish or gel polish with sparkles. It is enough just to completely cover the nail with them to make the classic jacket unique and unusual. Color, by the way, can be any. Not only glitter polish is appropriate to use.
Monochrome combination
Such french ideas (photoabove) are in demand, as a rule, among young ladies. They want to stand out from the crowd at least with a manicure. To complete the design, you only need three varnishes (white, black, transparent), a thin brush and dots (a brush with a metal ball at the end). First, the nails are covered with a base. Well, or transparent varnish. When it dries, a free edge is drawn. Black and white colors can be alternated through each finger (black-white-black-white-black), or in any other order. To make the smile line natural, draw it with a thin brush. Dots are affixed with dots, which are then “embellished” to the free edge. This idea of a French manicure is easy to perform. When the varnish dries, it is covered with a transparent layer for fixing. On extended nails, a similar design is done no less than on natural ones.
Perky French Manicure
When the free edge is covered with colored varnishes, the idea of a French manicure ceases to be classic. The masters called it "fan", or fan-french. Only multi-colored varnishes and stripe tape are required for execution. In principle, you can do without the latter, but with it it turns out only more effectively. The free edge is covered with colored varnishes, each of which must dry. There is no need to draw a perfect smile line, all imperfections will be hidden with a stripe tape. By the way, it can be used both single-color and multi-colored. For example, in the tone of the free edge. French design ideas can be anything here. When the varnish dries at the tip,tape is glued to the contour. Excess is removed with scissors or nippers. And then the design is fixed with a transparent varnish to extend the life of the manicure. The stripe tape, by the way, will only stay stronger from this, and at the edges it will not come off for a long time.
Color version with ribbons
French manicure ideas know no bounds. So, it has become fashionable to make a fully colored French nail art, where the free edge is covered with one shade of varnish, and the nail bed with another. The photo above shows this perfectly. To make a design quickly and accurately, you need to follow some simple rules. First, the entire nail is covered with a base color. And only when it dries out, draw a straight line separating the free edge from the nail bed. The tip is neatly painted over in white. Well, or any other. To hide design flaws, stripe tape is glued along the contour. If it is not there, then you can put down dots with dots that will separate the bed from the tip. This design looks very stylish and interesting. And most importantly, making it is very, very simple. It is only important to wait for one varnish to dry completely before applying another, otherwise they will simply be smeared at the slightest touch.
Elegant rhinestone pattern
French nail design ideas sometimes involve only a small addition to the classic French manicure with some elements. For example, an elegant bow with rhinestones, as in the photo above. This design does not attract undue attention, but it looks veryeffectively. To complete it, you will need:
- white lacquer;
- black lacquer;
- thin brush;
- clear varnish;
- glue for rhinestones;
- rhinestones.
First, a standard classic jacket is made. When the smile line is drawn and dried, a contour is drawn in black with a thin brush at the junction of the free edge and the nail bed. Then, where the center of the bow will be, a drop of glue is placed. Until it dries, a rhinestone is “planted” on it. Better with tweezers. It is not necessary to press hard, otherwise there is a risk of displacing the rhinestone and spoiling the contour line. When the glue sets, “hearts” are drawn with a thin brush with black varnish, playing the role of “ears” of bows. If necessary, if the length of the nail bed allows, you can also add ponytails-ribbons. After complete drying, the design is fixed with a transparent varnish in a thin layer. Exactly the same option is often used on extended nails, which also looks impressive and stylish.
How to choose a design
There is no universal answer. Everyone draws ideas in their own way. One likes a classic jacket with a little addition, others prefer an unusual design that only remotely resembles a French manicure. Therefore, everyone must choose for himself. So, for example, you can draw a pattern on a classic design with just one finger to make it unique and interesting. And many, by the way, prefer this option to others.
