Despite the fact that many beauty salons offer their professional services, many still prefer to carry out such a procedure as hair coloring at home. Sometimes this is really convenient, for example, if you return home late, and in the morning you need to be in a new look.
Most of those who decide to lighten their hair on their own use dye to bleach their hair. It is quite effective, but expensive. There is a more economical and unpretentious way. However, not everyone knows how to bleach hair with hydrogen peroxide, although the technology is the simplest. For clarification, you will need peroxide itself, more precisely, its 3% solution, and a spray gun for uniform and easy application of the liquid.
Before dyeing, the hair must be prepared: wash with shampoo, use conditioner and dry naturally, because the bleaching procedure itself dries out quite a lothair. After the hair is dry, we distribute it on two sides and alternately separate the strand by strand, treating it with a spray solution. How to bleach hair with hydrogen peroxide partially? If you plan to lighten only the upper strands, we process only them, trying not to get on the lower ones, which can be protected with ordinary cellophane film. You can put on a cap for highlighting - through it, the strands to be dyed are taken out with an ordinary crochet hook.
If you need to lighten all the hair, then you need to go through the entire head, strand by strand. After finishing the treatment, leave the solution on the hair for about thirty minutes. After this time, the hydrogen peroxide must be washed off with cool water, after which a deep moisturizing conditioner or a regenerating hair mask should be applied. Once again, it is best to dry your hair naturally, as the hydrogen peroxide reaction can still continue, and exposure to heat from a hair dryer can intensify it and destroy the hair structure.
After the hair is dry, the lightening result will be visible. You need to understand that the darker the hair, the more difficult it is to lighten it. Hair of light shades can be bleached already the first time, with dark hair you will have to repeat the bleaching after two weeks, and possibly even after another two weeks if the result is not noticeable enough. More often it’s not worth it, since bleaching hair with hydrogen peroxide in one day means completely destroying their structure - they will become dry and brittle, they will comb badly, fit and may stop growing altogether.
Within two weeks, the hair will gradually come to its senses, and it will be possible to carry out lightening with minimal negative impact, which is very important, since the lightening procedure itself is quite harmful to the hair structure.
Understanding how to bleach your hair with hydrogen peroxide is simple enough, but this does not mean that you will immediately get the desired shade. Both in beauty salons and at home, to obtain the desired color after lightening, it is necessary to use cream paint or tint mousse, since this procedure is only a preparatory step so that the main tone lies evenly over all hair.
