Time goes forward, and the usual braid on long hair has not surprised anyone for a long time. And how you want to be in the center of attention of the happy owners of luxurious hair and surprise, surprise everyone around with new hairstyles! Luckily, 2018 has already set new weaving fashion standards for the current time. In this article, you will learn about ways to weave braids for long and medium hair.
Cooking
Not every beautiful girl can boast of thick and lush hair, but this is not a reason to completely refuse to braid hair or walk with a "sad" thin braid. There are several ways to give your braid a beautiful volume.
Make volume by weaving small braids
Wash your hair before going to bed and, without drying your hair to the end, braid many small thin braids all over your head. With such pigtails, you can sleep one night or go through several days. Before doing your hairundo the braids and comb your hair. Now your hair is lush, and it has a corrugated effect. This method is the least likely to harm the he alth of your hair.
Creating volume with a pleated iron
The task becomes easier if you have a curling iron with a special corrugated nozzle in your arsenal. Run it through the entire length of your hair. This can take you one hour or more, depending on the length of your hair and its thickness. Although this method requires less effort, it can harm your hair more. It is not recommended to resort to this method every day.
Volume with bouffant
The fastest and most unhe althy hair way is to bouffant. To do this, you will need a comb with very fine teeth and patience. Take a strand of hair and comb it once on one side of the strand and a second time on the other side. Then do the same with all the rest of the hair. Do not comb your resulting bouffant, otherwise all efforts will be in vain!
Strait extension
Even if you get a chic volume of hair, this will not make your braid as voluminous as possible. In order to get the maximum result, any braid must be properly stretched. That is, at the moment of weaving the braid, you must pull out each of its links from it, but you need to do this very carefully and very carefully so that it does not fall apart, the links remain proportional to each other and the composition of the hairstyle is not disturbed!
Weaving methods for long hair
Long hair is a huge scope for creating different hairstyles. Even if your choice fell on braiding hair.
The classic option is the French braid. If you have long hair and still don't know how to weave it, then this is simply unforgivable!
There are several types of French braids: oblique, waterfall, classic, on the contrary, rim, openwork. By the way, it is the French braid that complements many evening hairstyles.
To weave such a braid, you will need a comb and thin elastic bands. You can also use bobby pins, hairpins and other hair accessories to decorate your braid.
So, when our voluminous hair is ready to create a new hairstyle, we separate part of it and divide it into three strands. We shift the left strand through the next to the middle, we do the same with the right strand. Next, we again shift the left strand to the middle, but now we add to it another part of the hair from the left side of the head, we do the same with the right strand, adding hair to it from the right side of the head in the same way. While weaving, do not forget that you need to carefully stretch the braid, pulling strands out of it. We continue to weave in this way until the hair on the sides ends. When this happens, we finish braiding the hair in the usual way, without adding additional strands to it and stretching it.
By the way, all of the following methods, which fell into the section of braids for medium hair, are perfect for weaving long hair.
Methods of weaving on mediumhair
If your hair is medium length, a fishtail braid is for you.
When you have finished all the preparations for creating a braid, proceed directly to the braiding of the hair.
Divide the hair into two parts. On each side, from the temple area and a little higher, we collect the hair and add it to the middle, crossing each other. You should continue weaving until the hair runs out. Do not forget to stretch the braid in this weaving method in order to give it the proper volume.
French braid, on the contrary, will also look very advantageous on medium-length hair.
In order to get this hairstyle, you need to separate a strand of hair in the frontal part and divide it into three identical parts. We pass the strand on the left side of the head (strand number one) under the one in the middle (strand number two) and put it on the one that was on the right side of the head (strand number three). Now we put the third strand under the first and put it on the second. We continue weaving the braid in the same way, adding hair from the head to the strands, until all of them are braided into a French braid in reverse. Don't forget to stretch the links.
The four-row braid is also suitable for medium length hair. This weaving technique is quite complicated, but you will be able to overcome it in a few tricks. Divide your hair into four evenly sized sections. Let's number your strands in order to make it easier to explain further actions. The first one from the right is strand number one, the next one is number two, the next one is number three, and the last one is number four.
Now let's start weaving. We put the first strand under the second (for convenience, it is better to do this with your right hand). With your free hand, lay the third strand on top of the first. We put the fourth strand under the first. After that, we impose the second on the third, and the fourth strand on the second. And we put the first strand on the second and the third on the fourth. The first strand on top of the third, and her, in turn, on the second. We continue to weave according to this pattern until all the hair is woven into a braid. If you are not afraid to destroy this structure, then you can pull the links of the braid, giving it volume.
And that's probably all. We wish you good luck, luxurious braids and a lot of patience!
