Winter is a season characterized by sharp contrasts and cold tones, so winter makeup can be much more saturated than summer or spring. And since the premonition of the holiday is in the air, sparkles are not at all an extra detail of the image. In this article, we will show winter eye makeup for different situations - from daily to festive, as well as make-up for themed photo shoots.
Delicate snowflake
Let's start with delicate shades that can be worn to work or leisure.

To repeat this winter makeup, do this:
- Use an eyeshadow base so you don't have to touch up throughout the day.
- On the moving eyelid, apply pearly shades of pale blue. Try not to touch excess skin.
- On a fluffy brush, type a light gray color and paint over the crease of the eyelid with it. Carefully blend the border between both shades.
- Very lighthighlight the arch of the eyebrow with blue shadows so that it is visually higher.
- With a white pencil outline the inner corner of the eye and carefully blend with your finger. Spice it up with light blue eyeshadow.
- Make a thin neat line with black eyeliner.
- Line the inner part of the lower eyelid with a blue pencil. Be sure to make sure that your cosmetic product is suitable for this, otherwise unpleasant reactions in the form of burning or tearing are possible. Or the pencil just won't stick.
- Use mascara.
- Even out skin tone, get rosy cheeks and complete the look with a delicate gloss or light lipstick.

Winter makeup for a photo shoot
Despite the wide possibilities of Photoshop, the image quality depends very much on the image of the model. Therefore, winter make-up for a photo should be not only beautiful and original, but also flawless, since the camera will only highlight all the existing flaws.
This image looks elegant, festive, neatly and visually reveals the look and enlarges the eyes of the model.

How to repeat it?
- Start by applying milky cream eyeshadow all over the lid, all the way to the brow bone. Blend them with your finger.
- Apply matte, almost white eyeshadow over cream eyeshadows.
- Now you can add dark accents. Take a dark gray color with a small sheen, apply it to the outer corner of the eye and stretch it with a fluffy brushon the crease of the eyelid, make a soft transition of color.
- Line the lower eyelid with a white pencil. This will make the eyes bigger.
- With the same colors as on the upper eyelid, lightly paint the line under the lower lashes, then apply mascara.
A little magic
- The makeup base is ready, now you can start giving it a festive look. Apply white pigment with large glitters to the inner third of the upper eyelid and to the inner corner of the eye.
- Make your lashes with mascara and then glue on the fake glitter lashes.
- If necessary, remove excess with a sponge or Q-tip. Elegant winter makeup is ready.
Northern Lights
This look is more dramatic and better for parties and holidays. The inspiration for its creation was the winter sky with tints of cold blues and purples.
Here's how to make a spectacular winter makeup:

- Even out skin tone on the eyelids with powder that matches your skin tone.
- Apply a white pencil to the inner corner of the eye and blend it.
- Make up 1/3 of the upper eyelid with a gentle blue color.
- Apply purple shadow to the middle part of the eye (above the pupil).
- Then paint the outer corner of the eye with dark, almost black shadows. Bring them out of the eye, creating a beautiful elongated shape.
- Purple and black highlight the lower lash line so that there is no imbalance between the upper and lower eyelids.
- Thenuse a fluffy color mixing brush to blend the borders between different shades.
- With a black pencil, line the upper lash line and the inner line of the lower eyelid. Try to keep the line thin.
- Then, draw a line with a blue pencil over the black eyeliner on the upper eyelid.
- Finish this beautiful winter look with mascara. For a more dramatic look, fake lashes can be glued on.
Winter's Tale
Intense turquoise colors will look very beautiful on girls with light, porcelain skin and dark hair.

How to do this winter makeup for brunettes?
- First, use the base under the shadow and powder it on top with regular face powder.
- Then apply nude eye shadow. They should not give any shade, they should only be applied to facilitate blending of other shades.
- Then take a light brown color and shade the crease of the eyelid with it. This completes the preparation, and you can proceed to the main work.
- On the outer corner of the eye, gently apply dark blue matte shadow. Then slightly extend them towards the bridge of the nose, stopping at the level of the beginning of the arch of the eyebrow.
- In the center of the eyelid, use a rich blue shade with sparkles. Mix both colors and then take the nude shadows from step 2 and use them to blend the top line of the makeup so that it is not too harsh.
- Paint over with lighter blue shadows with a greenish undertonethe inner corner of the eye, and then cover it with a very shiny silver eyeshadow or pigment.
Fine work
- Saturated colors visually reduce the eye, so in order to “open” it, you need to emphasize the area right under the eyebrow. To do this, use light beige shadows, always matte, so as not to overload the makeup.
- Then outline the upper eyelid with gel eyeliner, slightly stretching the line to the temples.
- Make up the lower lash line in the same sequence: nude shadows, then blue, bright blue, light blue and silver over them.
- Draw the "water line" of the lower eyelid with a black pencil.
- Then, on a thin brush with beveled bristles, type dark, almost black shadows and apply them to the roots of the lower eyelashes. Act carefully so as not to block the blue-blue stripe below, but only visually add color saturation to the lower eyelid.
- Curl your lashes with the eyelash curler. Then glue the artificial ones and paint over them with ink.
The rest of the makeup should be neutral, as the main focus is on the eyes.
